What is a Diesel Generator Kilowatt

The Kilowatt (KW) is defined as equal to 1,000 watts and is the measurement of power output and consumption of engines and tools. When using diesel fuel it is 30-50% more cost effective per kilowatt. For example the average electric heater in an American home generally uses 1 kilowatt to operate. In automobiles 1.34 horsepower equals 1 KW.

How to determine total Diesel Generator KW

It is important to have accurate power requirements prior to purchasing and determining diesel generator KWs.
