Who is Kubota?
Kubota Corporation was established in
1890 in Osaka, Japan. Kubota is one of the
world's leading manufactures of Kubota diesel
generators,
industrial generators
and engines. Kubota Engine
America Corporation (KEAC) based in the
United States is a subsidiary of Kubota
Corporation. KEAC provides services to North
and South American countries. In 1930,
Kubota produced their first diesel engine.
Kubota diesel generators have an
excellent history and reputation for
durability, quality and state-of-the-art
design.
Kubota's diesel
generators introduction to the U.S. began in
1976 with their first compact diesel engine.
It was Kubota who presented the new diesel
technology and the popularity of Kubota
diesel generators was born. The
Engine Division of Kubota Tractor Corp. (KTC)
was developed in 1982 in Chicago, Illinois.
KTC provides technical support, and
sales in the industrial engine market for
both single and
three phase motors
and
packaged industrial Kubota diesel
generators. Because the diesel engine
demands were so high, a separate
division of was created in 1998 to
specialize in industrial Kubota diesel
generators. This division today is
called KEA. Kubota is dedicated
to developing new technologies and producing
state-of-the-art, emission and ecologically
compliant Kubota diesel
generators.
Kubota's mission is to strive to develop
the ultimate manufacturing of compact diesel
engines.
Kubota's Design Series
- GL Series - Includes the popular LOWBOY II series. This is a vertical diesel engines enclosed in the most minimal space. The crank shafts is coupled with the cooling fan which allows less operation space and increased applications. These diesel generators have multi-cylinder liquid cooled engines with horsepower as high as 100HP.The GL Series comes in 5,500 - 10,000 watts.
- SQ Series - Nine models of long-lasting, durable, rugged, super silent diesel generators. These models are the largest of the Kubota series. Single and three phase voltage with a watt range of 13,500 - 24,000. The combustion system has excellent emission results due to the long cleaner hose, there is an extra large muffler and absorbing duct providing limited sound and vibration.
- KJ Series - The most economical of Kubota diesel generators. Standby and prime output watt variations range from 13.5 - 29.0 . Latest models have new additions reducing noise levels, extremely safe, and increased reliability.
